Rob is the global head for Digital Transformation ABB Ability™, leading a team responsible for acceleration of ABB’s digital businesses, acceleration of the digital adoption of customers, and incubation of strategic group-wide digital businesses. ; With over 25 years in information technology, Rob is an innovative executive and entrepreneur with experience ranging from founding startups to executive management of global enterprises. His background spans software and systems product development, strategic partnerships, technology led business strategy consulting for the Fortune 500, general management and corporate development. ; ; Prior to joining ABB, Rob was Corporate Development Officer at SpaceTime Insight. Rob joined SpaceTime insight from Cisco Systems, where he held several senior leadership roles, including global lead of the Internet Business Solution Consulting Group (IBSG), global lead and General Manager of the Strategic Partnership Group and planning lead for Cisco’s Telepresence Products. In these positions Rob worked with end customers to envision, create, and deliver innovative technology enabled business strategies and economic models driving real economic impact in profitable growth and process optimization. ; ; Rob holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics. He currently serves on the technical advisory board of NextAxiom and Allied Sports Ventures. Rob is also a published author.
